توماس برنهارد Thomas Bernhard (وُلِد بإسم: Nicolaas Thomas Bernhard في 9 فبراير 1931 - 12 فبراير 1989) روائي وكاتب مسرحي وشاعر نمساوي من أصل هولندي ولد في هولندا عام 1931 وتوفي في النمسا عام 1989. كتب روابات ومسرحيات عديدة,تأثرت بتجربته القاسية لإصابته بالسل وهو لما يزل في عمر تسعة أعوام. يعتبر كاتب متشائم ولا يخفي إعجابه بفيلسوف التشائم الألماني شوبنهاور. يعد من أهم الأدباء باللغة الألمانية في النصف الثاني من القرن العشرين. حاز جوائز عديدة ورفض جوائز عديدة أيضا.
