يوليوس أكسلرود Julius Axelrod (و30 مايو 1912 -ت. 29 ديسمبر ، 2004) كيميائى أمريكي الأمريكية الكيمياء الحيوية. حصل على حصة من جائزة نوبل في الطب في عام 1970 جنبا إلى جنب مع برنارد كاتس و فون أويلر. وقد كرّمته لجنة نوبل لعمله في فهم إطلاق والإمساك بالنواقل العصبية الكاتيكولامينات، وهي فئة من الكيمياويات في المخ تشمل إپي‌نفرين ونورپي‌نفرين، وكما أُكتـُشِف لاحقاً الدوپامين. كما قدم أكسلرود مساهمات كبيرة لفهم الغدة الصنوبرية وكيف يتم تنظيم نشاطها خلال دورة النوم واليقظة.
