خطوط الطيران اليابانية الدولية المحدودة (JAL) (株式会社日本航空インターナショナル, Kabushiki-gaisha Nihon Kōkū Intānashonaru)، هي خطوط طيران يابانية أعلنت إفلاسها مؤخرا[1] [[flag ، مقرها في طوكيو|شيناگوا, طوكيو, اليابان. محاور الطيران الأساسية لها هي مطار ناريتا الدولي في طوكيو، ومطار طوكيو الدولي، وChūbu Centrair International Airport في ناگويا ومطار كانساي الدولي في اوساكا.

تأسست الشركة في 1 اغسطس 1951، وفي 19 يناير 2010، أعلنت إفلاسها. وتعاني الشركة اليابانية من ديون تبلغ 16.5 مليار دولار، وأدى انخفاض أسهم الشركة إلى تراجع القيمة الشرائية للشركة إلى 150 مليون دولار فقط أي ما يقارب سعر اقتناء طائرة جامبو جديدة.

وعلى الفور كشفت الحكومة اليابانية عن خطة لإنقاذ الشركة تتضمن ضخ اموال بقيمة 3.3 مليار دولار، وتتضمن الخطة الاستغناء عن 15600 وظيفة، والتنازل عن عدد كبير من الفروع والتخلي عن الرحلات الاقل ربحا.

وبإلان افلاسها، ستحظى شركة الطيران باجراءات الحماية التي ينص عليها قانون الافلاس الياباني ولا سيما تجاه دائنيها.[2]

وستكون البنوك ملزمة بشطب الديون غير المؤمنة المستحقة على الشركة، كما أن الشركة ستتلقى دفعة مالية من أموال دافعي الضرائب.

ورغم أن الشركة ستواصل رحلاتها الجوية في ظل عملية إعادة الهيكلة التي ستشرف عليها الحكومة، فإن من المرجح أن يفقد المستثمرون معظم أموالهم.

ويُذكر أن عدد ركاب شركة الخطوط اليابانية قد انخفض كثيرا بسبب الانكماش الاقتصادي العالمي كما هو الشأن بالنسبة إلى شركات الطيران العالمية الأخرى.[3]
