إثنولوجيا أو علم دراسة الأعراق (Ethnology) هو علم يعنى بخصائص وإنجازات الشعوب وأحوالهم الحضارية والثقافية ومعتقداتهم. من أهدافه إعادة صياغة تاريخ الإنسان ومعرفة التغيرات الثقافية الطارئة على سطح الأرض مع تغير الأجيال. في أمريكا وبريطانيا يرمز لعلم دراسة الأعراق بالأنثروبولوجيا (علم الإنسان) الثقافية على الرغم من أن المصطلحين لا يحملان نفس المعنى.
