- 25 مارس – The first of the Yongle Emperor's campaigns against the Mongols is launched, leading to the fall of Öljei Temür Khan. In eastern Mongolia , a descendant of Kublai Khan , Oldjeitémur , joined by Arouktaï , khan of the Ossetians , tries to take the title of great khan.
- 29 مارس – The Aragonese capture Oristano, capital of the Giudicato di Arborea in Sardinia.
