شعب الكارن (بلغة الكارن: Pwa Ka Nyaw Poe أو Kanyaw ، جماعة عرقية تتحدث اللغة التبتية الصينية وتعيش بصفة أساسية في جنو وجنوب شرق بورما (ميانمار). وتشكل الكارن حوالي 50 مليون من سكان بورما.[1] ويقيم أعداد كبيرة من الكران في تايلند، بخاصة على الحدود البورمية التايلندية. وعادة ما يتم الخلط بين الكارن والكارن الحمر أو (الكارني).
