جورجو أگامبن (Giorgio Agamben ؛ /əˈɡæmbən/; النطق بالإيطالية: [aˈɡamben]؛ وُلِد 22 أبريل 1942) هو فیلسوف رادیکالي إيطالي اشتهر بعمله في بحث مفاهيم حالة الاستثناء،^[7] شكل الحياة (مستعارة من لودڤيگ ڤيتگن‌شتاين) و homo sacer. مفهوم biopolitics (المنفـَّذ من أعمال ميشل فوكو) يشي بالكثير من كتاباته.

ولد عام 1942 بمدينة روما-يشغل الآن منصب أستاذ فلسفة الجمال بكلية العمارة بقينيسيا .

- حاصل على درجة الدكتوراه في القانون من جامعة روما عام 1965

- أشرف على ترجمة الأعمال الكاملة للفيلسوف والناقد الألماني فالتر بنیامین من الألمانية إلى الإيطالية على مدى خمسة عشر عاما
