المدفعية والأنظمة الصاروخية
بدأ البرنامج المصري لتطوير الصواريخ الباليتسية في أواخر الخمسينيات بعد إنشاء منشأة جبل حمزة لاختبار وإطلاق الصواريخ الباليتسية لعقد اختبارات إطلاق نار على صواريخ الظافر والقاهر.[38][39] برنامج الصواريخ الباليتسية التكتيكية إر إس-120 لا يزال في مرحلة التطوير ومن المنتظر أن يستبدل فروگ-7 ويزود بصقر 80، مدى 120 كم، والذي يعتبر نظام متوسط بين نظام الصواريخ الباليستية ذات المدى الميداني ونظام الصواريخ الباليستية لمسرح العمليات. إلا أنه بسبب التغير المأساوي في المناخ السياسي والموارد المالية، تمتلك مصر الموارد التقنية والعددية لإنتاج صواريخ سكود بي/سي وپروجكت-تي.[40][41][42]
