أرگشتي الثاني Argishti II كان ملك أورارتو من 714 ق.م. إلى 680 ق.م.. He succeeded his father, King Rusa I. During the Urartu-Assyria War, Argishti was responsible for orchestrating major Urartian counter-offensives against the invading Assyrians. His forces drove the Assyrians back across the pre-war border and deep into the Assyrian heartlands, reconquering major towns and cities around Lake Urmia, including Mushashir, Ushnu, and Tepe, and conquering the territory as far south as the city of Nimrud on the Tigris River. These victories forced the Assyrians to accept a lengthy peace and cede large tracts of territory north of the Tigris. بقية عهد أرجشتي الطويل اتسمت بـ"عصر ذهبي"، كان فترة مديدة من السلام والازدهار الاقتصادي، استمرت في عهدي خليفتي أرجشتي، ابنه روسا الثاني وحفيده سردوري الثالث.^{[بحاجة لمصدر]}

نقش مسماري للملك أرگشتي الثاني في ڤيشاپاكار، بالقرب من معبد گارني، محافظة كوتايك، أرمينيا. اِكتُشِف في 1954.

بالرغم من أن منطقة أورارتو كانت تحت سيطرة الآشوريين بعد منازعات، فقد استمرت قدرة أرگشتي الثاني على مد نفوذه شرقاً، كما تشهد على ذلك نقوش في أذربيجان الإيرانية.
