حقبة الپليوسين Pliocene ( /ˈplaɪ.əsiːn/; archaically Pleiocene) (symbol P_O^[1])، هي فترة في مقياس الزمن الجيولوجي تمتد من 5.232 إلى 2.588 ^[2] مليون سنة مضت. وهي ثاني وأقرب حقبة في فترة النيوجين في حقبة الحياة الحديثة. يلي الالپليوسين حقبة الميوسين التي جاءت بعد حقبة الپليستوسين.^[3]
