مسييه 13 ويسمى "تجمع الجاثي النجمي المغلق" وهو تجمع نجمي مغلق يقع في كوكبة الجاثي ويتكون من مئات الآلاف من النجوم وقد اكتشفه العالم إدموند هالي في عام 1714 م، وتم تصنيفه من قِبَل شارل مسييه في فهرس مسييه برقم 13 في سنة 1764 م في اليوم الأول من شهر حزيران (يونيو)، ويمكن رؤيته بالعين المجردة في ليلة صافية، ويبلغ قطره حوالي 23 دقيقة قوسية (145 سنة ضوئية، وبالتالي فمن الممكن رؤيته كله بسهولةٍ في مرقب صغير، وهناك مجرة صغيرة تقع بين مسييه 13 و ف|ع|ج 6207 (NGC 6207).
