البيع على المكشوف ومأزق البيع على المكشوف

البيع على المكشوف هي ممارسة مالية يقوم فيها المستثمر، المعروف باسم البائع على المكشوف، باقتراض الأسهم وبيعها على الفور، على أمل إعادة شرائها ("غطاء") لاحقاً بسعر أقل، وإعادة الأسهم المقترضة (بالإضافة إلى الفائدة) إلى المُقرض والاستفادة من الفرق. تنطوي هذه الممارسة على مخاطر غير محدودة من الخسائر، لأنه لا يوجد حد ملازم لمدى ارتفاع سعر السهم. يتناقض هذا مع الموقف طويل الأجل (مجرد امتلاك الأسهم)، حيث تقتصر خسائر المستثمر على استثماراته الأولية فقط (أي يمكن أن تكون الخسائر 100% على الأكثر). على سبيل المثال، إذا اقترض البائع على المكشوف أسهمًا بسعر 20 دولارًا، ثم قام بتغطية 50 دولارًا (أي ارتفع السهم بنسبة 150%)، فسيخسر 30 دولارًا لكل سهم، مما يمثل خسارة بنسبة 150%[2][3].

ر/وال‌ستريت‌بتس r/wallstreetbets، رديت هو عبارة عن مجمع او subreddit معروف بمعاملات الاسهم عالية المخاطر و قبل الضغظ كان هناك اهتمام كبير بغيم ستوب على r/ wallstreetbets. إذ قام kiet Gill وهو احد المختصين في التسويق، ومحلل مالي معتمد يبلغ من العمر 34 سنة.و معروف باسم DeepFuckingValue و في مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي باسم roering kitty. سنة 2019 بشراء 53000 دولار من خيارات الاتصال في غيم ستوب. ليشهد بعد ذلك في يناير 2021، ارتفاع قيمة مركزه الي 48 مليون دولار. صرح بعدها جيل انه بدأ الاستثمار في غيم ستوب سنة 2019 بعد أن اعتقد بان السهم، مقوم بأقل من قيمته الحقيقية. و قد شارك كذلك استثماره في r/wallstreetbets وقدم تحديثات منتظمة عن أدائه. كما صرح في 29 من يناير انه " كان يعتقد بان هذا الاستثمار، سيكون ناجح لكنه لم يتوقع ماحدث في الأسبوع الاخير" [14] [15][16][17] [15] "[16].[11][18]"[15] -->

قام مستخدم Reddit على wallstreetbets subreddit في يناير 2021 بوضع أسس لضغط قصير على كيم ستوب.مما أدى الى ارتفع كبير في سعر السهم. و تم القيام بهذا الأمر بعد فترة و جيزة من توقع citron Research انخفاض قيمة السهم. و بحلول 27 من يناير كان سعر السهم مرتفعات بنسبة 1500٪. على مدار اسبوعين، ما ادي بتالي الي إيقاف عملية التداول لأكثر من مرة بفعل تقلب السعر.بالتزمن مع الضغط القصير و ما صحابه من زيادة في حجم الخيارات.ما أدى إلى حدوث ضغط غاما. بفعل حاجة صانعي السوق لشراء أسهم للتحوط نتجة الضغط القصير. فصناع السوق يسعون بشكل اساسي، إلى الربح عن طريق المراجعة. من خلال ضمن ارتباط اسعار الاسهم و الخيارات وبتالي الحفاظ على السوق. كفاءة. و يتمثل احد ادوار صانعي السوق في الكتابة أي (نشاء وبيع) خيارات المستثمرين بالإضافة إلى، شراء أسهم التداول، للحفاظ على مركز دالتا.التحوط. بشكل عام و بتالي الاستفادة، من تباينات الأسعار بين السوق و الخيارات، وسوق لاوراق المالية. مع الحفاظ على الحياد في تقلبات الأسعار. بعد إغلاق كيم ستوب التداول في 26 يناير 2021. بنسبة 92,7٪. غرد إيلون ماسك على توتير: "Gamestonk" مع رابط wallstreetbets. ليرتفع سعر السهم بعد هذه التغريدة، إلى 200 دولار. أعلى سعر للسهم خلال التداول اليومي. لكيم ستوب. بإستثناء التداول لساعات طويلة هو 48300 دولار (ما يقرب 190 ضعف قياس ب 2,57 دولار). و في 27 من يناير 2021 تسببت wallstreetbets بضغط قصير على AMC THEATRES و هي شركة في وضع مشابه لوضعGAMESTOP. لتزداد معه قيمة سهم AMC Networks بشكل كبير بفعل تشابه اسم السهم مع AMC.في الوقت الذي تم فيه الابلاغ، عن الاضطرابات و القيود التي تحد من تجارة الوسيط. مثل sharles Schwab corporations و فرعها TD Ameritrade وكذا روبينهود. و حسب بلومبرج فإن حجم التداول الأمريكي ( حسب عدد الاسهم) في 27 يناير. تجاوز الذروة التي، تم تحديدها سنة 2008 خلال أزمة مالية. و شهد ثالث أعلى مستوى للدولار، خلال 13 سنة المسجلة. وفي 28 من يناير 2021، قيد روبينهود اسهم nokia BlackBerry، AMC و غيرها، و لم يعد بإمكان المتداولين انشاء صفقات جديدة، في السهم بالرغم من انه لايزال بامكانهم إغلاقها. وسرعان ما قمت البرصات الأخرى بنفس الأمر. ما أدى إلى غضب العديد من المتداولين. و دعوتهم إلى رفع دعوى جماعية من خلال Reddit.لتعلن فيما بعد روبينهود، بأنها ستسمح بالقيام ببعض عمليات الشراء المحدودة. بالرغم انه لم يكن واضح ما الذي تحتوي عليه هذه العمليات. لكن بعض منصات التداول، مثل Trading212 و مقرها في لندن و eToro منعت عمليات شراء كيم ستوب، مع السمح بالبيع. بينما أوقفت Webull شراء لأسهم المتأثرة بالضغط. لكنها عدت بعد وقت وجيز، وسمحت بالشراء. في الوقت الذي صرح فيه أنطوني دينير، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة Webull بان زيادة متطلبات، الضمان لغرفة المقاصة الخاصة بهم. تعني بأن Webull نغةفسها ممنوعة من فتح مراكز جديدة. اتجاه البعض الى القول بان روبينهود كانت تبيع الاسهم بدون إذن. بينما نفت هذه الأخيرة هذا الأمر. .[20] This[21] [20][22] [23][24] .[25] اعتبارا من 28 يناير 2021 (2021-01-28).[26]

الوقع على صناديق التحوط

في 28 كانون الثاني (يناير) خسر صندوق التحوط Melvin capital. ما ينهز 30٪ من قيمته مقارنة ببداية السنة. بفعل الضغط القصير من كيم ستوب. و قد استثمراتCitadel LLC و شركاؤها حولي 2 مليار في ملفين. بينما أضف استثمار Point72 Asset Management حوالي 750 مليون، ليصل إجمالي الاستثمارات إلى 2,75 مليار.قبل أن يصرح ملفين لقناة CNBC بانه أغلق مركزه. لم يتم الإفصاح عن المبلغ كما ورد في تقارير citron Research. في الوقت الذي قام فيه صندوق اخر بتخفيض مخزونه، و ادعى أنه أغلق مركزه كخسارة كلية. ووفقا لستانلي مورجان فإن العديد من صناديق التحوط لاجئت إلى تغطية مركزها القصيرة وبيع الاسهم في محفظتها، لتقليل الارتفاع المالي و التعرض للسوق. كما افد في 26 من يناير 2021 بان البائعين على المكشوف فقدو حوالي 6 مليار بسب الضغط. كما تجاوزت الخسائر في مراكز البيع في شركات الولايات المتحدة حوالي 70 مليار. إذ أظهرت بيانات otrex، انه اعتبارا من 27 يناير كانت هناك خسارة، في بيع أكثر من 5000 شركة من الولايات المتحدة.

أشارت بلومبرج في وقت سابق إلى أن 40٪  من إيرادات روبينهود مستخلصة من بيع طلبات العملاء. للمنفدين في الأسواق (المعروف ايضا باسم مقدم السيولة/توفير السيولة للشركات بما في ذلك Citadel llc/Citadel Securities و tow Sigma /tow Sigma Securities استنادا إلى ما يسمى الدفع لتدفق الطلب. و قد قامت Citadel Securities التي هي جزء من شركة Citadel LLC باستثمار أموالا طائلة في Melvin Capital. مايعني بتالي أن لها  مصلحة في خسرت أسهم GameStop لقيمتها. لذلك اعتبار البعض بأن Citadel Securities هي من  وجهت روبينهود إلى تقييد تداول أسهم GameStop، للحد من نمو قيمتها. و هو الامر الذي نفته فيما بعد Citadel و ذكرت بأنها لم تصدر أي تعليمات إلى أي وسيط لتعليق أو تقييد التداول.

ردود الفعل

انتقدت السيناتور إليزابيث وارن نادي المستثمرين و صناديق التحوط. قائلة:"بأنهم تعاملوا مع سوق الاسهم مثل كازينو خاص بهم بينما يدفع الآخرون الثمن." كما عبر بعض المشرعين من قبيل الكسندريا أوكاسيو كورتيز و تيد كروز و رو خانا عن إحباطهم من قرارات روبينهود القاضية بإغلاق التداول الفردي لكيم ستوب من بين الاسهم الأخرى. بينما عبر عديد الأشخاص عن نفس التوجه مثل المحافظين بن شابيرو و ليمبو و كذا دونالد ترامب جونيور، ناهيك عن كل من المستثمر مارك كوبن و النائب تيد ليو. 

وفي لقاء تليفزيون قال مؤسس شركة Reddit،

قام أحد عملاء روبينهود برفع دعوى جماعية ضد الشركة بعد تقيديها التداول في كيم ستوب. أمام محمكة مقطعة الولايات المتحدة للمنطقة الجنوبية لنيويورك مدعيا فيها بأن روبينهود تعمدت إزالة أسهم كيم ستوب من منصة التداول الخاصة بها وسط ارتفاع غير مسبوق في الاسهم و بأنها حرمت بتالي مستثمري التجزئة من الاستثمار في السوق المفتوحة.أصدرت بعدها المدعية العامة لنيويورك، ليتيتيا جيمس بيان صحفي أكدت من خلله أن مكتبها سينظر في الامر قائلة"نحن على دراية بالمخاوف التي أثيرت حول نشاط روبينهود بما في ذلك التداول المتعلق بسهم كيم ستوب". تم رفع دعوى من الدرجة الثانية أيضا في محكمة مقاطعة الولايات المتحدة للمنطقة الشمالية من إلينوي/ المنطقة الشمالية من إلينوي مدعيا فيها بأن قرار روبينهود بإيقاف عمليات تداول BlackBerry و nokia و AMC ، تم اتخاده من أجل حماية الاستثمار المؤسسي على حساب عملاء التجزئة.
