كونگرس الفيفا
كونگرس الفيفا هو الهيئة التشريعية العليا للإتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم والذي يعرف بالفيفا /ˈfiːfə/. والفيفا هي الهيئة المنظمة لرياضة كرة القدم وكرة الصالات وكرة الشاطئ. وقد تكون اجتماعات الكونگرس عادية أو غير عادية.
يعقد اجتماع الكونگرس العادي كل عام، يمكن لمجلس الفيفا (سابقًا اللجنة التنفيذية) عقد مؤتمر غير عادي منفي أي وقت بدعم من خُمس أعضاء الفيفا.[1]
كل عضو من أعضاء الفيفا ال211 له حق التصويت مرة واحدة في الكونگرس. يمكن لأعضاء FIFA اقتراح مرشحين ل مضيفي كأس العالم و رئاسة الفيفا.[2]

التاريخ
يُعقد كونگرس الفيفا سنويًا منذ عام 1998. وكان يعقد سابقًا كل عامين. لم تُعقد المؤتمرات بين عامي 1915 و1922 ومن 1939 إلى 1945، بسبب الحرب العالمية الأولى و الثانية. أُجريت انتخابات الفيفا الرئاسية في كونگرس الفيفا ال1 وال3 وال12 وال29 وال30 وال39، وال51، وال53، وال61 وال 65.
انتخب الكونگرس الاستثنائي للاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم لعام 1961 في لندن ستانلي روس رئيسًا.[3] انتخب كونگرس الفيفا الاستثنائي لعام 2016 في زيورخ جياني إنفانتينو رئيسًا جديدًا في 26 فبراير 2016.[4] <1--Only five elections have had two or more candidates: the 39th (1974), 51st (1998), 53rd (2002), 65th (2015), and 2016 Extraordinary Congress.--> خمسة انتخابات فقط كان لها مرشحان أو أكثر: الدورة 39 (1974) ، 51 (1998)، 53 (2002)، 65 (2015) والمؤتمر الاستثنائي لعام 2016.

Extraordinary congresses
A total of eight extraordinary congresses have taken place: 1908 (Brussels), 1953 (Paris), 1961 (London), 1999 (Los Angeles), 2001 (Buenos Aires), 2002 (Seoul), 2003 (Doha), and 2016 (Zürich).[11] In the 2016 Extraordinary Congress, FIFA President Sepp Blatter would have remained in his position until his successor is elected.[12] However, due to the fact he was suspended, the Acting FIFA President, Issa Hayatou was in charge of FIFA.[13]
