ماستودون Mastodon أو Mastodonts (من اليونانية μαστός و οδούς, meaning "nipple tooth") ينتمي إلى الجنس المنقرض ماموت Mammut من رتبة Proboscidea ويشكـِّـل أسرة Mammutidae; كان يشبه، ولكن متميز عن الماموث الوبري، الذي ينتمي إلى عائلة الفيليات. Mastodons were browsers, while mammoths were grazers.
