سفينة حاويات Container ship، هي سفينة نقل بضائع تقوم بتحميل كامل حمولتها داخل حاويات بحجم معين الأمر الذي يسمح بنقل هذه الحاويات عن طريق الشاحنات بعد أن يتم تفريق الحمولة في الميناء، وتمتك بعض سفن الحاويات رافعات خاصة بها على متن السفينة مما يسمح لها بإفراغ حمولتها بشكل ذاتي، تعد سفن الحاويات أكثر أنواع نقل البضائع شيوعا حاليا.
