أوگوستو سيزار ساندينو
أوگوستو سيزار ساندينو Augusto Nicolás Calderón Sandino (مايو 18، 1895 - 21 فبراير 1934) النيكاراگوي, ثوري وزعيم تمرد ضد الولايات المتحدة الاحتلال العسكري لنيكاراگوا بين عامي 1927 و 1933. وكان يعتبر مجرم أو قاطع طريق من قبل حكومة الولايات المتحدة، وجعلت مآثره منه بطلا في أنحاء كثيرة في أمريكا اللاتينية، حيث أصبح رمزا لمقاومة الولايات المتحدة الولايات الهيمنة. قاوم قوات مشاة البحرية الأمريكية بما يسمى حرب عصابات، عانى الكثير من الهزائم، لكن نجح في النهايه بانسحاب قوات الولايات المتحدة من البلاد بعد الإشراف على تنصيب الرئيس گوان باوتيستا ساكاسا. اغتيل ساندينو في عام 1934 من قبل الجنرال اناستازيو سوموزا گارسيا، الذي استولى على السلطة في الانقلاب.
