فيليپ دى ڤيتري
Philippe de Vitry ( ولد 12911 ومات 1361) مؤلف فرنسي وكاتب نظريات وشاعر. كان مؤلف موسيقي ناجح ومبتكر ومؤثر وقد يكون أيضا كاتب بحث عن الفن الجديد. كان موسيقي عظيم في عصره.

حياته
منذ عام 1340 كان فيتري واحدا من أعظم الشخصيات الرائدة المثقفة في فرنسا وكان مغني وفيلسوف ومؤلف موسيقي وكاتب وناقد واسقف ودارس. سافر كثيرا وكان لديه علاقات دولية كثيرة. أعماله للموتيت على الأرجح ألحان لأشعار لاتينية من تأليفه - تمتعت بانتشار واسع ونجاح نقدي مثل شعره. كتابه للتعاليم الفن الجديد وضع أسس ابتكارات مثل استخدام النغمات القصيرة. قد يكون فيتري اخترع البالاد رغم ان امثلة ذلك لم تبقى اليوم.
