الامبراطور تاي‌زو من ليانگ اللاحقة (後梁太祖)، واسمه الشخصي ژو چوان‌ژونگ (朱全忠) (852–912)، وأصلاً ژو ون (朱溫)، وقد تغير اسمه لاحقاً ليصبح ژو هوانگ (朱晃)، وكنيته ژو سان (朱三، ويعني حرفياً: "ژو الثالث")، كان جيى‌دوشي (حاكم عسكري) في نهاية أسرة تانگ الصينية، وقد عمل قبل ذلك جنرالاً تحت إمرة امبراطور چي الغريم، هوانگ تشاو وأطاح بإمبراطورية تانگ في 907، مؤسساً ليانگ اللاحقة وكان امبراطوراً عليها، ليبدأ عصر الأسر الخمس والممالك العشر.
