I apologize for writing in English, but my Arabic is very poor. I understand that the article is linked to the article on the settlements in the occupied territories, as a supposedly close subject. However, there is no connection between the two, as the kibbutz is a form of settlement established in the 1920's. As far as I know, most of the kibbutzim are not in the occupied territories, and most of the settlements in the occupied territories are not kibbutzim. ايال 18:59, 12 سبتمبر 2006 (UTC)
- Hello eyal, the two subjects are related by the mere fact that both are settlements, in the context of established communities on a spot of land, and both are in the same reagon, and enhabited by the same "ethnic/religious" group! kibbutz is a form of the settelment before the establishment of the state of israel, regardless if there is a connectoin or not between the "idology" or the inhabitants of both types, or if there is any similarities between the type of life they choose to live by joining those communities.--ميسرة (نقاش) 19:42, 12 سبتمبر 2006 (UTC)
- Hello Mahmud, in that case, I suggest a category:settlements in Israel (عمارين في إسرائيل؟) be formed and linked to this article, as most of the settlements in Israel (I'm not reffering to the settlements) are inhabited by Jews. As it is, I think the current link is misleading. ايال 06:49, 13 سبتمبر 2006 (UTC)
