English: City Hall’s tower is a truly awe-inspiring site. From the top of the statue of William Penn’s hat to the courtyard below is 548 feet. The monumental structure’s walls are made of brick and stone up to the huge clocks and then metal to the base of the statue.
This is the interior of the top section, between the clock faces and the statue as the parallel sides start tapering in to meet the narrow statue.
