In January 2012, President Barack Obama announced that the SBA administrator would be elevated to Cabinet rank, a position it last held during the Clinton Administration.[1][2][3]
The current administrator is Isabel Guzman, who was nominated by President Joe Biden and confirmed by the senate on March 16, 2021.[4]
