الكركي Cranes، هو فرع حيوي من مجموعة ضخمة من الطيور طويلة السيقان والعنق ضمن فصيلة الكركيات. ويوجد 15 نوع من الكركي في أربع أجناس. تنتشر الكراكي في جميع القارات عدا القارة القطبية الجنوبية وأمريكا الجنوبية.

الكركي الشائع في إسرائيل. معظم فصائل الكركي تعيش في مجموعات ضخمة أثناء الهجرة وفي فترة البيات الشتوي.
