القمينة (Kiln) جهاز يستخدم لتسوية وحرق المصنوعات الخزفية، وهو يختلف تصميماً وحجماً ووقوداً بحسب غرض استعماله و هى أيضا محرق الطوب ويسميها أهل الصعيد في مصر "قمير" والجمع قمائن .

و القمينة الدوارة (Rotary Kiln)فرن يتكون من أسطوانة طويلة مائلة تدور حول محورها ويتم تسخينها من الخارج ، ومن أمثلته الفرن المستخدم في صناعة الأسمنت .
