قداس

القُدَّاس Mass هو الاسم الذي يطلقه العديد من الكنائس المسيحية على إقامة احتفال القربان المقدّس، أو العشاء الرباني حسب معتقدهم. وفي هذا الطقس يجتمع المصلّون لتقديم الشكر والتمجيد لله والمشاركة في الاحتفال. ويُسمي أتباع [الكنيسة الرومانية الكاثوليكية]، وبعض الكنائس البروتستانتية واللوثرية هذا الاحتفال القدّاس.

يتكون القدّاس من جزءين رئيسيين: الأول قداس يشتمل على قراءات من الكتاب المقدّس، وعلى موعظة دينية، والجزء الثاني يتضمن إحدى شعائر صلاة القربان المقدّس التي تتركز حول تذكر العشاء الأخير، وهو أساس القربان المقدّس. ينشد المتعبدون الترانيم ويبتهلون بالدعوات أثناء القدّاس.
