Common name
Library, collection and shelfmark
image width is set at 225px by default, but may be adjusted if appropriate. brief description of image
اسم آخر	alternative titles which do not belong in the subheader
النوع	e.g. miscellany, codex, gospels, cartulary, charter, letter, etc.
التاريخ	(approximate) date at which the manuscript was produced
المنشأ	place of origin/production, e.g. region or monastic house
اللغة	language(s) used in the manuscript
الناسخ	scribe
المؤلف	author(s) of the text, not necessarily the scribe
الجمع	compiler
التوضيح	illuminator
الراعي	patron who commissioned the production of the manuscript
مهدى إلى	dedicatee (who may or may not be the same person as the patron)
المادة	e.g. writing surface (vellum, papyrus or paper), type of ink, paint, etc.
القياسات	manuscript size; number of pages/leaves/folios; number of gatherings
التنسيق	e.g. double columns, large quarto
الحالة	e.g. damaged, pages removed, etc.
الخط	e.g. uncial, caroline, etc.
المحتوى	general description of contents
اضافات	e.g. glosses, seals, interpolations
مضرب الأمثال	when appropriate, the manuscript(s) which served as its exemplar(s)
مكان الحفظ السابق	where, when and by whom the manuscript was previously kept
الاكتشاف	details on discovery of the manuscripts
