- Wang Laboratories - acquired by Getronics in 1999.

- Xerox - Exited the computer business.
- Zeos - merged into MPC Corporation in 1996, which in turn filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2008.
- Zepto Computers A/S - On 17 November 2009 Zepto Computer was declared bankrupt, after several tries to save the company.[3]
