فينفيشر
فينفيشر FinFisher، ويعرف أيضاً باسم فينسپاي FinSpy،[1] هو برنامج مراقبة تسوقها گاما الدولية، شركة متخصصة في مجال البرمجيات مقرها المملكة المتحدة، لها فرع في أندوڤر، المملكة المتحدة، وآخر في ميونخ، ألمانيا.[2][3] تقوم الشركة بتسويق برامج التجسس عن طريق قنوات إنفاذ القانون.[1] گاما الدولية هي فرع لمجموعة گاما، المتخصصة في أجهزة، برمجيات وخدمات التدريب على المراقبة،[2] يملكها ويليم لوتهين نلسون من خلال مؤسسة شل، في الجزر العذراء البريطانية.[4] أثارت تلك البرمجيات الجدل بعد قيام الشركة بتوسيقها إلى الجهات الأمنية الحكومية لتثبيتها على أجهزة الحاسوب الخاصة بالأشخاص المشتبه بهم سراً، من خلال استغلال الثغرات الأمنية للمواجهة البرمجيات الغير متوقعة.[5][6][7]
بعد قيام الثورة المصرية 2011 وتنحي الرئيس السابق مبارك، اقتحم المتظاهرون المصريون مكاتب أمن الدولة حيث عثرو على عقود أبرمت مع گاما الدولية بقيمة 287,000 يورو للحصول على ترخيص تشغيل برنامج فينفيشر.[8]

Perhaps the most extensive marketing materials came from Gamma's FinFisher brand, which says it works by "sending fake software updates for popular software," from Apple, Adobe and others. The FinFisher documentation included brochures in several languages, as well as videos touting the tools.

A British company called Gamma International marketed hacking software to governments that exploited the vulnerability via a bogus update to iTunes, Apple's media player, which is installed on more than 250 million machines worldwide.

Apparently, at least according to a video promoting FinFisher, the software uses Apple's popular iTunes in order to load snooping software onto the computers of the intended suspects.
