الوسلاتية إحدى مدن الجمهورية التونسية، تقع في ولاية القيروان.
Attached to the governorate of Kairouan , it is a municipality with 9,006 inhabitants in 2014 3 . It is also the capital of a delegation . Besides the city, the villages of Maarouf, El Menzel, Djebel Serj, Zaghdoud, Djebel Ousselat, Djebel Erreïhane, Aïn Djeloula, Oum El Ksal and El Behaïer are attached to it.
It is in the center of a plain between the mountainous alignments of Djebel Ousselat and Djebel Serj belonging to the southern flank of the Tunisian ridge .
There are caves , interesting for speleology such as the cave of the mine , as well as numerous cave paintings , the best preserved of which represent hunting scenes where rhinoceros , ostriches and buffaloes appear , all animals which bear witness to an environment verdant nature in the Neolithic period .
Thirty kilometers from Oueslatia is the ancient site of Ksar Lemsa where the remains of a Byzantine period fortress and a Roman theater are preserved . Today, a water source is exploited for the bottling of mineral water .
