الأندلسيون هم مجموعة عرقية تركزت في الأندلس في أسبانيا. عموما لا يعتبروا قومية متميزة عرقيا لأنهم يفتقرون إلى اثنين من أهم العلامات المميزة لفردية العرقية وهما: لغة مميزة واصل واحد مشترك. والجدير بالذكر أن اللهجة الأندلسية لها ميزاتها الخاصة. والثقافة الأندلسية غنية وتتضمن أسلوب الفلامنكو في الموسيقى والرقص. ولدى الأندلسيون حكما ذاتيا.

الموقع الجغرافي والسكان
يعيش أغلب الأندلسيون في ثمان مقاطعات جنوبي إسبانيا وهي: الميريا، قادس، قرطبة، غرناطة، هويلفا، جاين، ملقا وإشبيلية. وجميعهم يتبعون منطقة الأندلس ذات الحكم الذاتي. في 2006 م سجل عدد سكان هذة المنطقة بـ7,849,799 نسمة. ونسبة نمو عدد السكان فيها أقل من أي مكان آخر في إسبانيا[8] بين عامي 1951م وحتى 1975م هاجر 1،7 مليون أندلسي إلى أماكن أخرى في إسبانيا.[9] مما يمثل 24% من عدد سكان الأندلس. معظمهم ذهبوا إلى كاطلون 989,256 نسمة و 330،479 نسمة إلى مدريد والبقية إلى فالنسيا والباسك.
وبسبب الأوضاع الاقتصادية، هاجر 700،000 اندلسي إلى الخارج وأكثريتهم من غرناطة، جيان وقرطبm وكانت أعمارهم بين الـ15 و 44 سنة. والأكثرية توجهت إلى فرنسا، ألمانيا الغربية وسويسرا[10].
