الريذم أند بلوز Rhythm and blues هو نوع موسيقي تولّد من التقاء روافد البلوز والجاز والغوسبل. اخترع هذه التسمية جيري وكسلر الصحفي في المجلة الأسبوعية المتخصصة في صناعة الأسطوانات بيلبورد Billboard بيد أنها أقرب إلى تسمية تجارية فلا تدلّ على أسلوب موسيقي معيّن بل أطلقت على كل أسلوب موسيقي رائج بين الأمريكيين الأفارقة منذ الخمسينات وتسمى أيضًا أر أن بي (R'n'B) أو( R&B )
