Deutsch: Gedenkstein für die Völkerschlacht bei Leipzig in Marxen.
Die Inschrift lautet: "Zur Erinnerung an die Befreiung Deutschlands. 1813 errichtet vom Kriegerverein Marxen 1913" Im Jahre 2013 wurde das Denkmal von der Gemeinde Marxen zu einem Mahnmal für einen dauerhaften Frieden in Europa umgewidmet.English: Memorial for the Battle of Leipzig in Marxen.
The inscription reads: "Zur Erinnerung an die Befreiung Deutschlands. 1813 errichtet vom Kriegerverein Marxen 1913" ("Remembering the liberation of Germany. 1813 erected by the Warrior association Marxen. 1913") In 2013 the memorial was dedicated to permanent peace in Europe by the municipality of Marxen. |
