(Aug. 26, 2002) -- Reporter Jill Cordes of the Food Network gets ready to put out a mock shipboard fire at the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Wash., under the supervision of Chief Aviation Boatswain's Mate Larry Jones (center) and his two fire fighting teams. Her cameraman is there to record the event. The Food Network will spotlight the Fire School at Whidbey Island for an upcoming feature on "The Best of Military Eats." Their salute to the military will air early next year and will include visits to Columbus Air Force Base, Miss., and Ft. Hood, Tex.
