English: Trafford Road Bridge Lots of new buildings here growing in this busy area of Salford. Spectators from Man Utd game can be seen pouring home over the bridge. Traffic is stopped for around 40mins to allow people to escape safely. The bridge was built in 1892 and had the ability to swing and allow water traffic through on the canal. Nowadays it is fixed and has been widened to allow more road traffic.
