English: Bronze plaque to North Carolina Governor Thomas Michael Holt on the basis of the monument to Major Joseph Winston, Guilford Courthouse National Military Park. Originally founded by the Guilford Battleground Company, the site of the battle of Guilford Court House later became a United States military park. Instrumental in founding the Guilford Battleground company, Governor Holt also donated funds allowing completion of the park's monuments.
