Rapperswil liegt am östlichen Zürichseeufer und ist dank dem Zürichseeufer, der Altstadt und Knies Kinderzoo ein beliebter Ausflugsort. In Rapperswil beginnt auch der Seedamm nach Pfäffikon SZ. English: Rapperswil is a former municipality and since January 2007 part of the municipality of Rapperswil-Jona in the Wahlkreis (constituency) of See-Gaster in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland, located at the east side of the Lake Zurich. Français : Rapperswil est une ville de suisse et une ancienne commune du canton de Saint-Gall, située dans le district de See-Gaster.
