This Boeing 737-529 ('29' was the Boeing-designation for Sabena) first flew on October 8, 1991. It stayed until Sabena's demise in December 2001 with the Belgian national carrier, as OO-SYG. It then went back to Boeing and was stored at Roswell for three and a half years (registered as N249JW). In mid-2005 it was taken up by South African airline Nationwide as ZS-PKU and flew with them until their ceasing of operations (April 2008). And yet again it served another ill-fated airline: MAT Macedonian Airlines who had to shut down in August 2009. In 2010 the aircraft was reactivated with a new 'MAT', 'MAT Airways' this time, as Z3-AAM...
