Flowers monoecious, many male florets surroundig a single female floret accompanied by many bracteoles; it si 5 lobed involucre of bracteols; thick glands have petaloid spreading limbs; anthers 2 celled; ovary 3 celled, styles bifid at apex; fruit a capsule; seperating into cocci.
