Italiano: Il Pechinese è una razza di cani di origine asiatica e ha una storia di circa 4000 anni. La razza è nata in Cina a Pechino e per molti secoli questi piccoli animali erano compagni dei soli abitanti del palazzo Imperiale.
Il Chihuahua è originario della penisola dello Yucatan, in Messico e sembra avere, a detta di molti studiosi, una stretta parentela con il cane cinese.
English: The Pekingese is a breed of dogs of Asian origin and has a history of around 4000 years. The breed was born in China in Beijing and for many centuries these small animals were companions of the only inhabitants of the Imperial palace.
The Chihuahua originates from the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico and seems to have, according to many scholars, a close relationship with the Chinese dog.
