English: Door panels of Taima Mandala shrine(Case frame of the tapestry), Laquer on Wood, height about 340cm. ACE1242
Decorations of lotus lake (door panels), celestial musicians (underside of roof), butterflies, ducks, cranes, pheasants, wild geese (inside); hōsōge flowers on the ceiling.Main cinstruction of this shrine is thought to be produced 8-9th century, but totally restored in ACE1242. Doors and most surface decoration is attributed to Kamakura period.
