(Lautercr). botryoides, 3m.—Woollybutt; also called Blue Gum in someplaces. A very large tree. Yield of oil about 6 oz. percwt. of dry leaves (/. F. Bailey). Subseries Exsertae. pallidifolia, F. v. M. insulana, Bail. (Fig. 171.) pachyphylla, F. v. M. dealbata, A. Cunn. rostrata, Schlecht.—Stanthorpe Yellow-jacket. Yarra ofMoonie River natives. exserta, F. v. M.— Bendo of Burnett River natives. tereticornis. Sin.—Blue Gum and Red Gum. Mungal ofBrisbane River natives. The dry foliage yields about 28oz. of oil per cwt. (/. F. Bailey). Gum contains 62 percent, tannin, 7 per cent, metarabin (Lauterer).var. brachycorys, Benth. Subseries Subexsertse. platyphylla, F. v. M.—Broad-leaved Poplar Gum.
