Claude Cahun (1894 –1954) Self-Portrait, from Bifur, no 5, 1930 Cahun never showed their photographs whilst they was alive. They lived openly as a lesbian, changing their name from Lucie Schwob in 1918, and used photography to expose and explore their image, as a form of masquerade and as an androgynous self.Français : Claude Cahun (1894 –1954)
Auto-Portrait, from Bifur, no 5, 1930 Cahun n'a jamais montré ses photographes de son vivant. Claude Cahun vivais ouvertement en relation Lesbienne et utilise le nom de Claude depuis 1918. Claude utilisait la photographie afin d'explorer son image et son identité en tant que personne de genre neutre. |
