Cladonia pleurota (Flörke) Schaerer, 1850 Photograph of a herbarium specimen taken through a dissecting microscope, x16. These specimens were growing on an old piece of cotton cloth in a woodland in the vicinity of Deer Park Road S of the entrance to the Visitor Center at the Soldiers Delight Natural Environment Area, Owings Mills, Baltimore County, Maryland, USA (Lat. 39o24.439' N, Long. 76o50.085' W, Elevation 649 feet). Collected and determined by E.C. Uebel (No. U-591, 13 May 2006). |
