Description
English: The building that served as the courthouse in Chaffee County, Colorado from 1932-1992. The building is located at 104 Crestone Avenue in Salida, Colorado. The architectural style is art deco, and the architect was Walter DeMordaunt. The building served as the county courthouse starting several years after the county seat moved from Buena Vista to Salida until it was replaced in 1992. It now houses county offices, and the courthouse functions have moved to the nearby Chaffee County Justice Center building.
