نور الدين أرسلان شاه الأول اسمه الكامل نور الدين أرسلان شاه بن عز الدين مسعود والمعروف ب «أرسلان شاه» (توفي سنة 1234م) هو والي الموصل التابع ل«الدولة الزنكية» للفترة ما بين (1193–1211).

In April 1190 , his father sent him at the head of an army to lend a hand to Saladin , Sultan of Egypt and Syria, then battling the crusaders who were besieging Saint-Jean-d'Acre but the action of the various princes who came to the aid of the sultan failed to prevent the crusaders from taking the city 1 .

He succeeded his father on August 28, 1193 2 ), shortly after the death of Saladin 3 . Taking advantage of the succession troubles which shook the Ayyubid empire , he regained his independence.

After ten years, Al-Adel , brother of Saladin, eliminated his competitors and dominated Egypt and Syria. His cousin Qutb ad-Dîn Mohammed, emir of Sinjar and son of Imad ad-Din Zengi, recognizes himself as the vassal of Al-Adel. In retaliation, Arslan Shah besieged and took the city of Nisibis around 1203 . He died in 1209, leaving a ten-year-old son under the guardianship of one of his Mamluks, Badr ed-Din Lûlû 2 .

He had a son, Al-Malik el-Kaber Izz ad-Dîn Mas'ud (1200 † 1218), emir of Mosul.

After his death, Lûlû continued to exercise regency for his two sons, Nur ad-Din Arslan Shah (1215 † 1219) and Nasser ad-Din Mahmud (1216 † 1222). On the death of the second, he proclaimed himself emir of Mosul, and held the city until the Mongol invasion in 1259 2 .
