الجنرال السير هنري كلنتون Henry Clinton‏، KB ‏(16 أبريل 1730 – 23 ديسمبر 1795) كان ضابطاً في الجيش البريطاني وسياسياً، أكثر ما عُرف به هو خدمته كجنرال أثناء حرب الاستقلال الأمريكية. فقد وصل لبوسطن لأول مرة في في مايو 1775، ومن 1778 وحتى 1782 كان القائد العام البريطاني في أمريكا الشمالية. وبالاضافة لخدمته العسكرية، فبفضل نفوذ دوق نيوكاسل الثاني، فقد أصبح نائباً في البرلمان لعدة سنوات. ولاحقاً في حياته عـُيـِّن حاكم جبل طارق، إلا أنه توفي قبل تولي المنصب.

وينحدر هنري من أسرة نبيلة يمكن تتبع جذورها حتى 1066 ولها تاريخ عريق في خدمة التاج. فقد كان ابناً لجورج كلنتون، أميرال الأسطول، وأنجب هنري ابنين واصلا تقاليد العائلة في قيادة الجيش: الجنرال السير وليام هنري كلنتون (1769–1846)، والليوتنانت-جنرال السير هنري كلنتون (1771–1829).
