English: West end of the Priory Church of St Mary, Canons Ashby, a Grade I listed building, is a fragment of the west end of the nave of the Augustinian Priory that stood at this site from about 1150 until the dissolution of the monastries during the reign of Henry VIII. Prior to its dissolution in 1536, the priory was four times its current length. It was purchased by Sir John Cope in 1538 and and much of the stone used for secular buildings on the local estate. The church is now administered and maintained by the National Trust from the adjacent Canons Ashby House. قالب:Listed building England
