Deutsch: Neubau der Stadtbibliothek in der Breiten Straße 32-34 in Berlin-Mitte. Das Gebäude, das 1964-1966 nach Entwürfen eines Archtitektenkollektivs unter Leitung von Heinz Mehlan errichtet wurde, verbindet die benachbarten Altbauen des Ribbeck-Hauses und des Neuen Marstalls, die ebenfalls von der Stadtbibliothek benutzt werden. Das Gebäude ist als Baudenkmal gelistet.
English: New building of the Berlin City Library at Breite Straße No. 32-34 in Berlin-Mitte. The building connects the older neighboring structures of the Ribbeck-Haus and the Neuer Marstall (New Royal Stables) which are also part of the library complex. It was constructed from 1964 to 1966 to a design by an architects' collective under Heinz Mehlan. The building has been designated as a historic landmark.
