I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this!! I knew they existed, but I never thought I'd ever see one, let alone seeing one here! As we all know, these were a rebadged Isuzu Gemini, built in Japan and sold in the US as the Buick Opel, in sedan and coupe bodystyles. We saw them in Australia as the Holden Gemini. I also noticed the little 'Isuzu' badge was still displayed on the grill, even though the 'Opel' name was clearly displayed everywhere else and then there was a little sticker on the back saying 'Buick'. There was also a badge on the back saying 'Opel - By Isuzu'. This one was in fantastic condition! Not sure who imported it in, but this needs to be kept in a safe place! The ultra large US style bumpers give this a more bulkier look about it. |
