Deutsch: Vielblättrige Lupine (Lupinus polyphyllus), auch Stauden-Lupine genannt, gehört zur Familie der Hülsenfrüchtler. Der Blütenstand ist bis zu 50 Zentimeter lang. Da in den Wurzelknollen Bakterien leben, die Stickstoff binden, kommt die Vielblättrige Lupine oft als Gründünger zum Einsatz.
English: Bigleaf-lupine (Lupinus polyphyllus), also known as herbaceous lupine, belongs to the legume family. The inflorescence is up to 50 centimeters long. Since bacteria that bind nitrogen live in the tubers, the many-leaved lupine is often used as a green manure.
