Stier und Europa sind der griechischen Mythologie entlehnt und das Dreieck ist Symbol des Dreiländereck Deutschland/Frankreich/Schweiz.
English: Sculpture "Europe reaches for the stars" in Breisach am Rhein. It commemorates the first referendum for a united Europe on July 9, 1950 in Breisach. Bull and Europe are borrowed from Greek mythology and the triangle is a symbol of the border triangle Germany/France/Switzerland.
